There are several options available to travel by sea. Ferries make regular runs between Martha’s Vineyard and the mainland daily, and getting to one is easy! Here are directions to reach the ferries by car, and by bus. If you're coming from the greater Boston area, the easiest route is to drive an hour and a half to Woods Hole, MA and take the ferry from there. Passenger tickets are only $8. For a full list of ferry boats and schedules, check out vineyardferries.com.

Flights to MV are serviced by Cape Air and take about 35 minutes from Logan Airport. However, unless you are already flying from out of town to Massachusetts, we'd recommend an alternate method to flying (which tends to be pricier). There is a Peter Pan bus that takes you directly from Logan Airport to the ferry terminal in Woods Hole. Tickets are only $25-30 (ferry tickets are included) and the ride is definitely easy if you want to avoid renting a car.
